Supporting Affordable Housing Are you committed to supporting Affordable Housing? Then you should consider membership in the Gold Gavel Club. Each year the association raises money through the memberships of the Gold Club and the Annual Raffle to contribute to the Pennsylvania Committee for Affordable Housing (PaCAH) Fund. The Gold Gavel Club is comprised of a group of builders and other members that support our local legislators and affordable housing. Join Today (link to Registration Form) Membership Benefits (Link to Benefits) All members of the Gold Club receive: a certificate, name recognition in each monthly newsletter, at each monthly meeting, a special Gold Club name tag for meetings, free admission to the July PaCAH Fundraiser (value of $200), and free admission to the fall legislative event. BACP Supports Affordable Housing: The Builders Association of Central PA raised $15,098 for the Pennsylvania Committee for Affordable Housing (PaCAH) during the 2007-2008 cycle. The association had donated $14,590 in the 2005-2006 cycle. These funds are used to support legislation that helps the housing industry. Some of the current issues facing the building industry are jobsite theft, contractor registration, code changes to the UCC with the 2009 IRC books, impact fees, the Chesapeake Bay Tributary Strategy, workforce development, affordable housing and more. The Builders Association would like to thank the Gold Club Members for their support of Affordable Housing in Centre County and Pennsylvania.
